Seat belts –

A long time ago – maybe mid or late 60’s when seat belts were mandated – I recall seeing an ad –

 

“You don’t need seat belts at 35 mph if you can catch a 1,200 pound dumbbell dropped from 15 feet”

 

Or something like that – I’ll leave the numbers up to the engineers here and Clyde.
