Don’t know as I haven’t looked for one. I believe I paid around that when I bought it from the automobilia/hobby store here in Vancouver (it was still listed in their catalog, so I ordered it).

 

A kit like this pales in comparison to the Bosica models. Now those are amazingly detailed!

Tamiya makes excellent models. I made their 1/12 scale Catherham Super 7 and it was an incredible kit. Full tube frame chassis (in plastic), metal suspension arms, stamped sheet aluminum body held on with tiny watch screws, etc. Almost like building the real car!

 

Their R/C cars are nicely detailed and well-proportioned. Never had one, but if there was only one I would have, it would be the Lancia Delta Integrale they made many years ago.
