They used to sell a little after market adapter for the C4 Corvette that would leave the hatchback peeking open an inch or two when closed. Supposedly that also significantly cut cabin turbulence, but I never tried it.

Charles - would love to know if that adapter for the C4 is still available somewhere? Have a friend who may be very interested....

This is intriguing, because I remember that the 360 was the last model available with a detachable roof (an exceptionally rare option, only a handful of cars were ever fitted). It was more like a sunroof, but nonetheless.
I suppose, as it pointed out in the article, that retractable hard-top roofs are the norm now with convertibles, it isn't too much effort to have just a roof section come off by hand
Peter - The VW Eos *almost* does just that. Retractable hardtop (into the trunk) with option to instead open up a roof panel as a sunroof (powered, not manual) rather than retracting
the whole top.

I'd never heard of it either. Not really a targa but a fully removeable
sunroof. Here's one example:

Matt (and Charles and Peter....) - 360 w/ sunroof is so rare that, despite all the Ferraris I've seen over the years, I've never seen one "in the flesh". I do recall seeing it
in one of the Ferrari mags back when first introduced....

Tamiya makes excellent models. I made their 1/12 scale Catherham Super 7 and it was an incredible kit. Full tube frame chassis (in plastic), metal suspension arms, stamped sheet aluminum body held on with tiny watch screws, etc. Almost like building the real
car!
Their R/C cars are nicely detailed and well-proportioned. Never had one, but if there was only one I would have, it would be the Lancia Delta Integrale they made many years ago.
Peter - It is a great kit, and Tamiya does make great kits in general. Well detailed, excellent fit, great proportions. I also have this Catherham kit and will (someday) find the time to do it justice. There is also a great aftermarket detail kit for it,
which I find both very tempting, and very "over the top" - it goes to the level of including photo-etched bolt heads for the carbs (as I recall - it's been a while)! I'm slowly getting things together to return to my model-building. Have a small paint booth
courtesy of a close friend, which I've refurbished and upgraded (doors to keep dust down and a good light to see what I'm painting), and our great F-List friend Rob Garven made me the best deal possible on some of his excess model-building supplies. So I
have the space, the supplies, the kits (oh lordy do I have kits!!), just working on the *time*. Oh, and I also have a 1/8 Ferrari F1 car which should be great fun to build.
😊
