Hello George,

For the 1994 model year, the rear track for the Spider went from 1578mm to 1628mm.

Wheel offset may have changed as well because the rear wheel bolts were much longer 

than the earlier models. These changes were made to help alleviate complaints of

twitchy handling. Also, there were (2-3?) Service Bulletins regarding the shocks and springs.

Switching the shocks front to rear, switching the springs on the shocks front to rear etc.,

all for the same reason.

I have all the Service Bulletins and Recall Campaigns. Clyde has read through most if not all of them,

which may have played a small part in his "shitbox" diagnosis. 😳

Brian,

Wasn't the rear track a bit wider also?  I seem to recall either a spacer or a rear wheel with different offset.....  But admittedly, it's been a *REALLY* long time....
