BUWHAhahahahahahahah Another “out of the park” reply from Charles. Doug From: Charles Perry [mailto:charles [at] carolinasound.com] J From: Ferrari [mailto:ferrari-bounces+charles=carolinasound.com [at] ferrarilist.com] On Behalf Of Doug & Terri The Saturn rocket motor . . . Some time ago our office build was close to Rocketdyne in Woodland Hills, CA, and I marveled at a sculpture mounted out in front of their offices – one of the main Saturn engines. That sucker was at least 2 stories tall if it was an inch. Rocketdyne is also noted in the neighborhood for their engine test stand in Simi Valley . . . . and their nuclear motor melt down. No real after effects other than some six legged coyotes and three eyed bull frogs. The enormous engine test stands are still quite visible from a distance. Looks like the skeletal structure of a 20 story half completed steel frame building. Ach – those were the days Doug |
