I have a 308 GT4. I love it. To Clyde it may be a shitbox. To me it is my darling. I love it. I spend money on it. It is MY money and that’s how I choose to spend it. It gives me a lot of pleasure driving it. I love the sound of the carbs however much Clyde might deride them. It may all be irrational but sod it, I admire the technology in more modern Ferraris but I don’t really want one. Quite happy with my 40 year old one which I will never sell as long as I am capable of driving it. Gives me a thrill every time I drive it.FrancisOn 2 Mar 2019, at 20:35, Clarence Romero Jr. <clyderomerof4 [at] gmail.com> wrote:

Ok
It’s just you have to wonder sometimes
The rational of it
That’s all
It’s why the coast guard exist
To save people who are clueless with sail boats
They have money, buy a boat and put themselves in harms way
And then some guys and now women have to save them
That’s all

But why does everyone have to like everything you like? They didn't ask you to pay for the car. You aren't storing it. You don't have to drive it. Met a lady eh other day who collects owl related items. I don't. But how does it affect me?
Trans-Am, Camaro, Grand Nationals and Syclones (I have one - my 3rd) and Typhoons from the late 1980's and early 1990' are starting to bring great money as collectibles. Obviously from this sale also as investments. You don't like them don't buy one, Pretty simple!
