Sadly, I just had this happen with my new Civic.  Only 3000 miles / 9 weeks old.  Rear ended  by a pick-up on my way to work and pushed into the SUV in front of me.  Expect car to be total loss.

I could wah-wah-wah about my Job-like “luck” but that’s not my nature.  Just another ’setback’ to the “Ferrari Fund"   If there is such a thing as Karma, I must have been a real dick in a past life.

On the plus side, Civic is fungible - found its identical twin, already sitting in my local dealer’s lot.

Had a ride in one; goes like hell!!  For the price, one could get a new F-150 plus a good 360!

Along the lines of previous postings here of how some cars getting smashed up mere minutes off of the dealer lot, I was buying some parts from Eurospares for my 308 tonight* and thought, for funnies, I’d take a look at what cars are in for breaking:
At least anyone buying the interior trim will rest assured that the protective plastic is still on. You know, to preserve future resale value...

*= No, I didn’t smash my car, I forgot some pieces for my timing belt job...
