I was passenger in a little Piper flying out of a small airfield to go to an island about 1 hour flight away.  Pilot fires the engine up and is about to go. I look out the side and see what looks like a gas cap sitting on the wing.  Excuse me, but is that supposed to be there? Definitely wasn’t on tight enough!

Well it was the gas cap

Had the light reset 
Went to get the car emissions checked 

It failed because I didn’t drive it enough!

It failed *readiness* WTF over!

 

Seats stopped working again

Figure the circuit is in series since both don’t work

Has to be a loose connection somewhere 

Other than that it’s code one

It accelerates like a light F-4 at 350kts
