Mom was the wild child... she'd done it all. Our poor daughter didn't stand a chance... she couldn't get away with shit. I had an easy job.
In the late 90's her friends would be at the house and looking at the CD collection. Wow, you're folks let you listen to Marylin Manson?!? My daughter would duck her head, turn beet red with embarrassment and whisper "it's my dad's"
did I miss the spit-take??
Wait, you have peers?!?!???

Warning Rick, put your beverage down before proceeding further, I owe you enough keyboards as it is.
We’ve been discussing with my peer group.
So glad I had a boy rather than a girl. I only have to worry about one of them, not all of them.
Those with daughters have one goal in life, keep them off the pole.

So after dinner, mini me (8 y/o) and I decided to go for a drive in the Bentley.
We’re on back roads near our house, Queen’s Fat Bottomed Girls blaring on the radio. I look over and ask how he’s doing.
Get a thumbs up and a “everything is perfect, dad”.
Life is short, make every moment count. And it is way too short to drive a boring car.
YMMV,
Erik
