Ohhhhh, this brings good memories to my mind!

I believe I was in Hallett 00 or maybe Hallett 99. I'll have to check my t-shirt :-)

I drove a rented Dogde on the track with the instructor by my side, and on my second lap, ran out of brakes at the end of the main straight. At first I tried to do the left turn, but it was not possible, I was going too fast. Remembering what had happened with the Porsche, I went straight on (not sideways)  to the grass escape area. Managed to slow down enough to get the car back to the track, First instructor words were: "it's not your first time doing this,  is it?"  :-)

Again, fantastic memories with the help of long time friend and list member, Rick Lindsay, Thanks Rick!!
