I've got you all beat in that I have been following F-1 since
'53. I was a freshman and U. of F. and discovered F-1 through "Punch"
magazine, a British publication that I started reading in the U of F
Library. Back in the old days there weren't really any decisions made by
Stewards on racing conduct, however, it was much more gentlemanly, but, if you
wanted to, you could get away with anything. Having watched the
development of rules since then, I must say that the call against Vettle and
Ferrari yesterday was the worst I have ever seen. It was really bad
for the sport, the participants and the fans. I hope that Ferrari
appeals.

recently I begin to wonder why.
Its much simpler now, George. You don't have to watch the
races any more since the results aren't decided on track. Just check the
championship numbers after the season ends to see who the stewards
chose.
