Looks like someone isn’t playing by the embargo rules.

As the others replied, I got all the pics too...

Amazing stuff! There’s so much out there, in print and on the ‘net, of the Ferrari factory, but not much of manufacturers like these. Photos like yours are that rare glimpse, thanks for sharing. Much appreciated.

In the line-up of cars, the navy blue one in the middle is, I believe, the first running prototype. It was run alongside the actual production car at the unveiling in Paris. I have an old R&T mag, one of their special edition “exotic cars” issue that went into great detail about it.

If you look closely at the Miura engine, you’ll notice a rough finish at the cylinder head decks, along with the bearing journals... This was just cast and will be machined next! Keep in mind, the original Mini drivetrain was the inspiration for this unit! They thought it was clever packaging (and it is) and would be the best set-up for what they wanted (small footprint, low COG, consolidating parts, etc).

An engine with integral tranny in it's casting.  Thought "Holy crap.
They are not mixing engine and trans lubricants, are they?"  Then I
realized it is the motor out of the Miura on the other side of the
room.
