I don’t want to talk s--- about parts suppliers... Something about burning bridges and such. I’ve found that the way people conduct business, in general, has gone down over the last couple of years. It’s not how it used to be. Maybe people are too inundated with emails, but, it’s my preferred method of communication. It’s there in B&W. So that’s my first go-to when enquiring about parts. Coincidentally, I contacted Eurospares within the last couple of days about purchasing major engine parts and I came away feeling I was talking to a wall, or worse yet, a politician. I try to keep my questions concise, but also I don’t want to leave any details out, so I’m careful how I word it. Anyways, they went totally unanswered and I suppose they don’t want my money (which would be a considerable amount). They’re not the only ones. Another supplier has an incredibly poorly laid-out website with nearly zero descriptions/specs of their parts. Each order I’ve placed, I’ve at least gotten one wrong part. You know how much it costs to return an item back to (insert location here) from Canada? One quote from DHL was more than what I paid for it! I’ve learned that before EACH order, I ask questions about EACH part. Royal PITA. It never used to be like that. Go to a site, click on the item, buy it, get confirmation about the shipment and then it shows up in a few days. Done like dinner. Count yourself lucky cLyDe that at least you are getting a NEW hood release. My only hope is that it’s not on backorder... So I hit up Brian at Ted’s for a combat spare
No joy there
So I go to https://www.eurospares.co.uk/cars-breaking-for-spares/ferrari/ they have around 5 cars 550/575 all busted up on their website and you can plainly see that the hood
assembly latch are un touched in each of these cars, interiors are ok
So I enquirer about a used part
Doesn’t exist, but we have a new one!
Bonus
Can you say ripped off Mr. Robinson?
Total BS anyway long story short I buy the new part from them
What a bunch of scam artist
Ugh
Scars are Tattoos with better stories !
