Well, in it’s current state, NASCAR stands for non athletic sport centered around rednecks.  Change the r to rap for the current demographics they’re chasing?

Subject: [Ferrari] The predictability of F1

FIA showed pictures of 2021 new cars last week: F1 is so predictable that we now know how an F1 will look like in 2021. 2 years from now. FIA has been doing this for some time now. Sending photoshop pictures of what the next F1 will look like 2 years later after new rules. That’s the problem with F1, the rules are so strict that every body has basically the same car minus a few twitches.

Can you believe what would have happened if they had done that in the 70s and 80s and 90s ?
No Lotus 72
No 6 wheels Tyrrell
No Lotus 78
No Ferrari T2 (flat 12 cyl. with transversal gearbox) No Brabham BT52 (the arrow) by Gordon Murray No McLaren MP4\4 by John Barnard No Ferrari paddle gear shift by John Barnard No Williams FW14B by Adrian Newey, etc, etc

The only fighting we see is between the middle teams, the front runners just settle into a “procession” after 4-5 laps as the tv commentators like to say.
