I’ll freely admit that I’m not sure how or why a title would be needed for a race car?

 

A street car I could see, as it would be licensed and registered.

 

Even then, weren’t 355 Challenges not street legal anyways?

 

Also, if you all remember I posted to this list a Hagerty article listing the states that were the friendliest and easiest to register “classic” cars. The friendliest states in most cases didn’t even require a title to register.

You can race almost anything that will meet a rulebook.
