Rob, can you shed any light on the curious affinity Rush and Kiss had for each other?

They were very close friends to the shock of many Rush fans...

Actually I’m on the left with the long hair that was our original singer in our band his name is also Neil! 

That was at a club called the Starwood it was infamously owned by the guy that was in that movie about John Holmes starring Val Kilmer. 

Rush was on tour with Kiss, and I got to meet them at the same club, and also shared a beer with Richie Blackmore one night in the VIP section. 

The guys in Rush we’re very cool, as are most Canadians! That was their second time in LA with a bit more of a following after their second album was released.

I knew the guys in Rush before they made it big, here are some shots of me with Neil.
Very sad, but he lived a full life, and could certainly have had many more Ferraris??

He was a fantastic drummer!
