Exactly right. I did many miles in an F40 on the road and the track when they 
were new (= properly maintained)

Apart from some shuddering when they got VERY hot, and that took many laps on a 
heavy braking circuit, I never had a problem with them.

No servo assist + track pads make people think the F40 brakes aren’t good.

The stock brake hardware is rather excellent actually.
