But across national boundaries?
It would be possible though that if it sat too long and got stale at the Canadian dealership, it could’ve been wholesaled off and the Costa Mesa dealer picked it up.

It’s not inconceivable that it’s a shared owner or a dealership group. For example, McLaren Boston and McLaren Charlotte are owned by the same guy, but they don’t really publicize that. They’re not hiding it, but it’s
not like it’s a “Hendricks XYZ” where you know it’s part of a larger group.

Peter,
I had done a simple VIN search on Google and that ad popped up.
So, I looked into it more and yes, I found the listing for the Costa Mesa dealer:
klasseautocorp.com - 2002 ferrari 575 maranello
But no ad for the Kelowna dealer, nor their claim it is listed in Hemmings.com:
augustmotorcars.com
- Ferrari inventory
hemmings.com - Ferrari 575 Maranello cars for sale
Not sure how Gary looked up the VIN (Carfax?), but maybe record for it was in an expired ad on that “Dads Classic Cars” site.

The dealer selling it in Clyde’s post is in Costa Mesa, CA while the dealer for same vin in Gary’s post is in BC.
As Arte Johnson on Rowan and Martin’s Laugh In would have said “Verrry interesting!”
John
Interesting that the dealer is in Kelowna, BC, Canada and their description states that the price is in Canadian Dollars.
So $79,193 CAD = $57,500 USD
Damn, if that isn’t a perfect example of cLyDe pricing, I don’t know what else is...
Peter
P.S. Note: Ad says 6-speed manual transmission, but F1 paddles and selector switch on the center console is seen in the photos...

Photo is red and description states exterior color is silver. No mention of title or carfax in ad.
