True.

 

Even at $60K+ for this example, is a bit much.

 

Canadian-spec examples never had the mouse-trap seatbelts and extra-padded dashboard required for the U.S. market. They still were required to have side marker lights, third center-mounted brake light and since 1990, daytime running lights.

 

As far as I know, the mouse-trap seatbelts were the loop hole to get around installing airbags.
