Friends, As you all know I am electrically challenged. My front turn indicator on my Euro GT4 was busted and is NLA so I found a NOS (###), and installed it. When done I tested it and am getting an intermittent short and wanted to ask the group a question. I assume the flat bare wire running along the back is a ground wire? If it touches the body along the line somewhere would that just ground it more or should it be isolated from the body/frame? I am trying to be a detective here, it seems the running light (Blue Arrow) is unaffected, but the turn indicator/hazard light (Yellow Arrow) intermittently works. I was going to remove the part and check that the bare wire runs along the negative contacts sufficiently I was near impossible to remove and install, and if the headlights decided to retract I would have lost both arms…….Of course had the battery disconnected but…… Anyway thanks, hope everyone is well, The pandemic is negatively affecting the band and my wfe may lose her business, so trying to focus on the Ferraris….
