That’s been years in the making. The F50 I believe was the first to use a digital screen for some of the gauges. There is a shop in California that specialises in repairing them (and they are known for crapping out)... For a princely sum.

 

I would expect that and other of these types of displays would eventually be repaired with something like this:

I’m glad to see Ferrari going to an all screen design in the Roma.  Even less crap that you can fix at home.  They’ve become disposable...
