I bought a 400i from a barn in 2004. 3 years later and over 120k dollars it was one of the best. Back then I could get the parts direct from Martello AND I had access to a guy who worked in them when new. Now? In the USA? Forget it.

It was a magnificent car. Even Clyde saw it one time when we met at the pub after a GP. Never let me down but then the car was basically new when I was finished.

You can google “ Britt rothman ferrari “ and see it if you want. But I wouldn’t do it now..... better to buy one already perfect....

This 1984 Ferrari 400i is a rare and highly sought after 5-Speed manual model with just 21k miles. Bronze with tan leather interior and just out of long-term ownership and barn-storage. The car has been off the road for quite some time and will require mechanical and cosmetic refurbishing. Offered with books, tools, and service records/history. Not currently running but a solid and honest car for easy recommissioning. An extremely original example overall with a nice and straight body. This excellent original 21k mile 5-Speed 400i is not to be missed by any Ferrari enthusiast.
