Dear Friends of Cavallino,
No doubt you have seen the recent press release which announces Canossa Events has bought Cavallino, both the magazine and the Cavallino Classic. However, I wanted to write you personally to give you the news. We are pleased; they are a good group that knows how to do high-end events and publications.
First, I want to assure you that nothing will change. The same crew will be running Cavallino magazine and the Cavallino Classic during a transition year. After that when Canossa holds the reins, they plan to continue with all the good things that made Cavallino what it is.
Second, I want to thank you personally for all your help and support over the years. The success of any venture rests on the people who it serves, and we thank all of you who have read the magazine, and also all of you who have attended the Cavallino Classic.
There’s been 42 years of magazine for us and 30 years of the Classic, and I must admit that my family, my staff and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience, but it’s time to pass to younger generation. The staff at Canossa has the same enthusiasm that we all have for all things Ferrari, but they have the drive and energy and talent to continue what we started.
In addition, they have vast experience through their affiliate Motorsports Network, to utilize the Internet to best advantage to reach even more Ferrari enthusiasts around the world. They have a great many ideas on how to expand Cavallino and take it to levels that we only dreamed about.
We will stay in touch and we will see you for many years ahead. In closing, I ask that you give Canossa the same wonderful support you have given us over these many years.
With my best regards,
John and Alicia, our Staffs and Contributors
