Received new insulation- What kind of glue ?

Happy days.  Gotta say this about stuff getting mailed currently.  Seems a lot better since hunkering down.  Fine tuning took time.

Spray glue - Hmmmm.  Now then, there are only about 5 zillion brand names of spray stuff – but only one contact glue I’ve been happy with . . . and make sure it comes in the red can – WELDWOOD CONTACT CEMENT.  The red can . . . open it up and birds drop out of the air, you bleed from your nose and your eyes cross.  Follow directions.

The green can from the same company with the same contents name . . . sheeeesh. You can drink it [ed. Don’t].  California approved.  Water soluble?  Personally I found it worthless but it helped to keep a small hardware store in business – about 20 years ago.

QUESTION on your great looking sound deadener – did you role it with a wall paper seam roller?

Any way you cut it Michael - just know my advice is free.  You know what it’s worth.  <grin>

Subject: [Ferrari] Received new insulation- What kind of glue ?

I just received my new sound insulation an hour ago. It’s half as thin as the old one (see picture). As I mentioned, it goes on the firewall behind the seats on top of the heat shield I already put.

GLUE QUESTION: I bought spray glue for "paper, canvas, cardboard, cork and photos" as advertised on the can.

What do you think of my glue? Good enough ?

P.S.: Yes that is snow on top right corner.
