As I’ve pointed out here before, this is a Canadian car, so it doesn’t have the complex mouse-trap seat belt system. Just normal three pointers. It also doesn’t have the knee-pad dashboard either. I think most states would be more concerned about pollution control than passenger restraint when it comes time to inspect. Even though this car looks to be de-cat’d, it was a smog-equipped car from the factory, so that point should be able to make it more legit. Passing an actual smog test may be more difficult without the cats though, so probably easier just to keep the Montana registration.

 

Not my cup of tea, but admittedly, it does look sexy in that triple black color combination.

 

It isn’t far off from dealer asking prices and with Hagerty pumping it up in their “Bull Market List” report recently, I’m not surprised at what this example got.
