Any other explanations Michael?

Yeah, our cars are put together with raw steel.

Pre-rusted.

No extra charge.

Subject: [Ferrari] 2 seat belt bolts: Different results after 40 years.

Preparing to change the heat/sound shields in the interior, I had to take out the seat belts. Look at the difference between the driver’s side (D) and the passenger’s side (P) bolts behind the driver’s and passenger’s head. The driver’s bolt is all rusted. I’ve had the car for 20 years, so I doubt I’m responsible for this difference. It’s as if the first drivers before me drove with the window down even if it was raining a bit and water fell in the driver’s bolt. Very bizarre. Plus the washers' set-up are different on both sides. My brother is actually making me ‘nylon shoulder washers’ on his 3D machine as I’m writing this. I’ll put 2 nylon shoulder washers on each side. Of course, I cleaned everything up.

Any other explanations ?
