Ahhhh.  OK

The little Sikorsky used to fly Pres Johnson about is currently on static display at the Reagan Library.  It has two clocks – one for the RH pilot, one for the LH #2

I found a couple of them.  I like the analog feature.  One from an SR-71 that I had refurbished by Waltham.  I think it’s cool to have a 2,500 mph clock.  They look like they’re just off the shelf gauges.

...and the clock was used to monitor fuel consumed in order to calculate duration and as a check against fuel gauges if you had 'em.

Oh – OK.  Thanks

Hmmm - In the same worthless position as my 1978 308 GTS clock and oil temp gauge is.

The early 308 GTB/S dash boards - designed by a committee.

Anyhow – just WHAT are those 8 day clocks used for?

Clock is the small top gauge.  < 2.5”
