I'm not sure where the jack was placed, but when I was looking to buy a TR back in 1997, one I saw that had a door that dragged.  Before my eyes the dealer/seller placed a jack under the door and jacked it up.  I wonder if in those days the final inspection at Ferrari where if the fit wasn't right a jack was applied similarly. 

Who remembers the Ferrari factory video where there's a guy with a mallet straightening cam shafts?
