Just a reminder I should’ve been like the rest of the kids and played video games like them. When I was single-digit age, I had received a birthday gift from my Aunt & Uncle that being polite, I thanked them for it, but I kept my displeasure to myself as I really didn’t like what I got. They knew I was into Lego and cars, but instead of buying Lego, they bought a similar, plastic building-block toy. I didn’t even bother taking the plastic wrapping off. In a hurry to get everything packed for my move to the West Coast as a young adult, it got tossed into the many boxes of “stuff”, which managed to survive with each move that I made out here. I came across it a while ago while cleaning up the garage of worn-out Ferrari parts that I was saving, plus all of the other crap I’ve seemed to accumulate over the years (I swear I’m not a hoarder). There it was still in the plastic wrapper. Brought back memories and made me realize I should’ve been more appreciative back then as a kid. Maybe I did though, because I did keep it for all of these years. Figuring I hit a lotto win with this (just like the stories of the one you posted) I did some Googling to find out the value... Oh well, back to work on Monday morning and back into the box from which it came, to continue to gather dust in the garage. Don’t believe the hype, it’s ALL obsolete tech. |
