Yeah, exactly. We use a similar device at work, but taller to support the front end of commercial trailers, which goes right under the king pin.

 

I suppose the lift arms can fit far enough forward to clear the tires and still reach the frame rails of your 355 then.

My local guy taught me to strap my 355’s suspension arms to the front lift arms.

 

But these only cost a few dollars. I don’t know why I don’t see them anywhere but my workshop…

This is quite common. Not just with Ferraris.

 

You would think by now that they’d come up with a way to solidly secure the car frame to the lift arm to prevent these from flipping. Even a pair of short 2” wide nylon straps to wrap around both arms and clip onto built in tabs on the chassis at the front would solve this. That would cost the company what, maybe $5 to $10 per car to implement?
