Ferrari has disclosed that they are selling dreams and not reliable hardware for a while.  Why should this case be any different?  Got to give them credit, they are consistent.

Someone sure got to Leclerc.   During the pre-race with di Resta, Leclerc clearly says gearbox.   During the post race interview with the lady he makes it very clear it was NOT the gearbox, twice.   New explanation was the off side (left) driveshaft.   

Truth or damage control?   So, explained to him clearly in an open conversation in the pits or drug by his ear to a back hallway and told what to say…

Maybe it was due to the gearbox – if he shunted the car on the right hand side, it could’ve pushed the whole works over causing hidden damage to that driveshaft on the opposite side.

 

But let’s not forget, 2^nd place for Sainz Jr! It’s about f’n time to get on the podium!
