The F40 used the Marelli IAW that was also found in Lancia, Fiat and Alfa Romeo cars. Also Ducati motorcycles. There’s a long list of very “common” applications for this unit. There’s only one chip inside that contains your fuel and ignition
maps which can be swapped out.
You can find them on ebay once in a while.

Another study in deferred maintenance.
Oh, there’s more. Tires are 13 years old, needs major service, buttons are sticky and dealer noted rust on the door sills.
Finally, the convertible top doesn’t go down. What’s that saying, “If the top doesn’t go down, the price will”?
Carfax states car was registered in a FEMA declared flood disaster county. Seller description doesn’t mention one way or another.
There are multiple ways to be underwater with a 355.
My 365 was traded in on a F355. I think I still got the better end of that transaction.
