Well, the Georgia-based Merlin Auto Group pumped up the bidding rather early. There’ll be some heavy-hitters in this game, but it is a very desirable spec and right now, these are very much in demand. I’m not surprised at all at what the bidding is at and it certainly deserves a six figure amount when done.

 

I left the game early on this year and gave up on the 328 market. Maybe it was fate, but I picked up a lovely, low mile ’89 Mondial T Cabriolet a couple of weeks ago locally and I love this thing so much. Although it was a tad above my budget, I have zero regrets. Yesterday, I did a 160 mile round trip to the resort community of Squamish BC (just south of Whistler ski resort) with fellow car club members and it was a dream drive and this car is worth every penny. Oh, and just before going on holidays this past week I was daily driving it to work and will continue to do so on Tuesday when I go back.

 

Life’s too short...
