The Space and Missile Defense Symposium was this week. 

One of our corporate give aways was a pocket protector with “it really is rocket science” on it. 

They were more popular than all the other swag.

I’ve got two Ferraris in the garage, money in the bank, I picked the right career for my skillsets that has brought me this prosperity - which can last into a comfortable retirement - and I live in a place that truly feels like home. I’m blessed to have a great family and a group of close-knit friends, that a few of them have lasted almost a lifetime (three of which I’ve known since kindergarten and that makes 40 years).

 

I’m also amazed and humbled to be amongst you folks. An actual group of rocket scientists!

Whatever your philosophy on life, one fundamental truth is that gratitude is one of the keys to happiness and peace.  Do you guys reflect on how fortunate you are on a regular basis?  We all have our demons but this small group is quite fortunate overall.
