Even the stock exhaust sounds great. There’s this set-up on a 348 that sounds quite wicked:

The single box muffler for a stock ’94 Spider could be adapted for this car too, with a cut here and a weld there... I really liked my friend’s Spider when he had it. Loud, but not obnoxious.

 

This could be a slippery slope. I just want to drive the thing...

With two trunks (front and rear) and the rear fold-down seats, the Mondial makes a very capable Costco runner (with the bonus of extra-wide parking stalls for no door-dings)...
