Prices are nothing without context. California's median home price set a new record high for the fourth consecutive month in June, rising 0.2 percent month over month to $819,630, up from $818,260 in May and 30.9 percent from $626,170 in June last year. For the third month in a row, the median price in California remained above the $800,000 mark, and it was the third month in a row that the state had an annual increase of more than 30%. It was the third time since June 2013 that the state recorded an annual increase of over 30 percent, according to the California Association of Realtors (C.A.R.). $130k for a car in California is less than the inflation on a median house for the last 12 months. Now that is crazy. On Aug 14, 2021, at 4:56 PM, Clarence Romero Jr. <clyderomerof4 [at] gmail.com> wrote:
