Re: 2021 Le Mans Results.....

I found the #63 race footage on a YouTube streaming feed. It was operational for the entire race.

I used to watch the whole race, bumper to bumper, back when Speed Channel covered it. Too bad that's gone. Some years had Hobbs as one of the on-site announcers. One year, his shift started early morning local time, like 6am.  His first words:  "Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey."  (not sure how to spell that using "bacon") Andrew Marriott, Justin Bell, Jamie Howe. And others I forget....

Hans,
I watched (online) a lot of FP2 in the dark...  Wednesday night?  Morning?
The #63 Corvette had a camera up front, almost right on the pavement.  It was both mesmerizing and a sort of throw-back to the McQueen LeMans movie with the stripes passing by your chin and moving side to side.  I wish they had more of that during the race.   Like "Rendezvous" only much faster and in the dark.

I think your comments got a bit lost because they were in the middle of an existing thread. A new thread likely would have drawn more attention.

FWIW, I was following the race off and on, mostly off as I don't have decent TV coverage of it. But between beers at the pub, I was watching the in-car of the 63 Corvette. Kind of addictive, in a weird way, as each lap looked more or less like the last.

I'm surprised more teams don't do that, as it provides cheap and easy exposure for their sponsors.

All,

Sorry about the mess that I made in sending the Le Mans results.

Q: How did the 575s do?
A: I don't know, they didn't show the parking lots.
