Hans, nice work on the QP IV!
A friend had one and it was a serious machine.
I had a few hours driving it through the Catskills and was very impressed. On Sep 29, 2021, at 05:14, Hans E. Hansen <FList [at] hanshansen.org> wrote:

Actually, my previous QP V had wipers that worked superbly well into triple digit speeds in heavy rain. I was impressed. But I have no similar experience in my newer QP VI. However, Italian intermittent wipers are just that..... intermittent. Manual control is unfortunately needed.
Hans.
Looking forward to your detective work results!
I’m quite sure the wiper blades on your Maser won’t be lifting up at similar speeds!

I live about an hour from Medford. I'm going to have to try and find
that road. The rather sparse pine tree forest suggests east (or just
west but near the top) of the Cascade range, anything farther west is
dense Douglas fir territory. It's possible that it is the road leading
to Crater Lake from the south, but I kind of doubt it, as it's busy
and less likely they would close it for a private film shoot. Most of
the roads in that general area don't have as nice a pavement surface,
and are narrower with minimal shoulders.
Off to my maps....
Hans.
