No John
To my knowledge they served spaghetti at any officers club that I am aware of
Certain bases had fight crew nights
Langley AFB it was Tuesday night
Miramar it was Wednesday night
Luke AFB Friday night
I can’t remember Oceana ?( Rick)
Nellis Friday night
You would cross country into a base and celebrate with others who were like minded
Who wore the flight suit with the collar up and the sleeves rolled up
Traded patches and stories
Bat hanged from the bar rail
Played dead bug
Celebrated a promotion or an upgrade
Anyway during the Cold War the casual bar was legendary for aviators to meet in their flight suits and let off steam
We would sing songs of daring deeds and of the dead from the war(Vietnam)
I still have my song book to this day
You wouldn’t understand your not part of the culture
What I wouldn’t give to put you in the back seat of a F-15 and put you to sleep!

We’re Wednesday nights spaghetti nights at Miramar?

I was a guest of ABC Sports for the 2002 Super Bowl week in San Diego.  One of the festivities that week was a tailgate party at Miramar before the game.

Nice car and responsive owner.

8,500 miles in 40 years?  Such a shame. Someone didn’t have sex with his supermodel girlfriend so that the next guy could have a better experience!

Just MHO.

No we don’t and that is a stunning example.

Also, great photos and videos. It pays to have a pro do a photo shoot. I’ve seen plenty of BaT auctions that the photos are less than ideal (poor lighting, poor choice of background, etc).

When there’s a break in the weather up here, I’ve set up a photo shoot for my Mondial (no I’m not selling it already!). The photographer did a series of a Porsche which I saw on Instagram and I was incredibly impressed with his shots.
