No John To my knowledge they served spaghetti at any officers club that I am aware of Certain bases had fight crew nights Langley AFB it was Tuesday night Miramar it was Wednesday night Luke AFB Friday night I can’t remember Oceana ?( Rick) Nellis Friday night You would cross country into a base and celebrate with others who were like minded Who wore the flight suit with the collar up and the sleeves rolled up Traded patches and stories Bat hanged from the bar rail Played dead bug Celebrated a promotion or an upgrade Anyway during the Cold War the casual bar was legendary for aviators to meet in their flight suits and let off steam We would sing songs of daring deeds and of the dead from the war(Vietnam) I still have my song book to this day You wouldn’t understand your not part of the culture What I wouldn’t give to put you in the back seat of a F-15 and put you to sleep! 2’s extending angles 20 bullseye mike, check gas, check gas Scars are Tattoos with better stories !
