LOL! Yep. I had actually PAID (wire transfer) for
that BBi and the owner decided to take it
for one last "spin" before the transporter was picking it
up..... He spun/slid off a road and wiped out the right
quarter against either a tree or a telephone
pole!
At least I was able to get my money back quickly and
found an even better condition Boxer in LA.
Bought that one in 2003 with just 11K miles on
it. Had it five wonderful years and sold it for almost
double what I paid, with 29K miles it. Then I bought a
550 Maranello that I had for eight years.
I miss the Boxer!
