Is this better?
I’ve been working with the Nashville Predators organization for about five years now. With their Little Preds program, we’re giving first time hockey players head to toe gear, for free. The game is trying to break the myth that it is expensive, most of the programs are under $500 a season. Hell, even the baseball teams charge close to that around here. And our rink has a bar that is open for the parents.
Need to go soak my foot in ice, blocked a shot off the toes from a 6’7” monster. Pissed him off, still skated the rest of my shifts, won it 6-2. Can’t wait to see my foot swell up like a balloon at 38k feet tomorrow, but it’s better than sitting on the couch watching golf.

Oh, sure, you judge the game by its biggest whiner. At least, when someone scores in basketball, it is always because of their skill and not a lucky bounce off someone's body or skate from time to time.
Also, poor kids can play the game. All you need is a ball and a school or park nearby. The cost to play hockey is pretty high.
I take it you grew up in a cold state or country like Canada, eh? ![Lebron Vs. Hockey Players Meme's - Blowout Cards Forums]() ![Comparing Hockey and Basketball - The Hull Truth - Boating ...]()
You mean, after 🏀 After hockey, everything else is too slow to watch.
And it is more fun to play than watch, literally just finished baking a pair of new CCM skates...
Same can be said about golf and tennis.Sent from my iPhone What you guys are basically saying is that gas powered cars stimulate more of your senses. Those racecars hit visual, smell, hearing and feel. It is human to prefer that over just visual.
It is probably still a blast to drive in the E cars but not so much to watch them. It is like baseball. Way better sport to play than to watch. Formula E doesn’t do much for me either. You and I appreciate the intensity of race engines, but not the modern urbanite crowd. We had for many years the Indy race right in downtown Vancouver, which drew in plenty of revenue for the city, especially the businesses/hotels in the area of the race. But, as city hall got more progressive and with the booming development of condos in the downtown core, enough residents complained about the noise and it took zero effort to kill the event. It will be interesting to see how this pans out because, the noise will be gone but the downtown population has exploded since Indy left. Traffic was bad back then and worse now, I can’t see how blocking off streets completely (that already lost a lane because of bike routes) will go off. City hall is taking an anti-car stance, so it’s confusing why they’d allow a car-related event to happen in the first place. Peter Sent from Mail for Windows I still dig drag racing. I always move near the 60ft line for Funny Cars and Top Fuel. When that noise becomes visceral and the overwhelming smell is of burnt Nitro-Methane. To have your ears (even with plugs) over-pressure and go to static... To feel the exhaust pulses trying to change your heart rhythm by beating on your chest. To breath in the nitro and taste the horsepower... <insert Tim Taylor horsepower grunts here> It's something the green movement just doesn't get it... Formula E just does nothing for me. They’ll move on from Formula 1 to Formula E soon enough. Who wants to hear those “loud” engines and breathe in exhaust fumes? Peter Sent from Mail for Windows ...F1, like everything else has waded into the global WOKE (ces)pool and they are losing the old guard left and right, not just here, but in Europe and Asia. Yeah they are courting the woke crowd, but how many long term fans will that really bring? The SJWs will follow the next crisis. The pack mentality will tire of racing... _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: https://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/tbauco%40gmail.com
