Follow the money. This is all to favor Rimac and leverage more hybrid technology systems. 

After all, Porsche is having no issues selling SUVs to dentists’s wives.

And is this going to make any kind of difference to the way F1 plays out? Is it going to bring better/more competition, or just throwing good money away? Is it really the best venue to showcase their technical prowess?
