5 axles… they’re spreading the weight around some.

Those guys work the big Canadian mines?   Diesel and ammonium nitrate?

Sorry Rick, It was getting late and didn’t get a chance to reply to this last night.

We do have 11 yard concrete trucks up here – and we did have a contract to refit a series for a local company many years ago – but they won’t have ride axles within the wheelbase. We just don’t do that here in B.C. Dual drive rears and dual steerers, yes, but no rides (even though they are permitted by our motor vehicle regs).

The regs vary across the country, but it seems we have the highest weight limits than anywhere else. The roads are no worse because of that. I think it’s mainly to do with the fact we just don’t have concrete roads/highways out here.

This was one I worked on this past Spring. A rolling bomb...

You don't have ride axles on 11 yard concrete trucks?

Or you don't have 11 yard concrete trucks?

7 axle super dumpers that push the wheelbase 10ft?

Weight per axle laws? They don’t check that up here...

But…. It’s a Rolls… If you take out the Brit motor, how will you keep the suspension lubricated?

Add enough batteries to get one of those boats rolling…  will it comply with weight per axle laws?   Lady Penelope treatment?

Speaking of waftability, if there was any classic car I would convert to electric, it would either be a Rolls or a Bentley. They were made for silent travel and you can’t get more quiet than that.

...And no, the main selling feature of a Rolls is waftability.  Once you really make it in life, you don't need to race from meeting to meeting, they'll start when you arrive.  I still haven't gotten used to everyone standing up when I walk in, but I'll go with it...
