Here you go, sold for $60K.

A strong result for a car with the more complex seatbelt system, accident history and due for a timing belt change.

I should hope your '85 Euro Mondi had a thorough recommissioning of the fuel/ignition system if the previous owner spent that kind of money getting it ready for sale. With this BaT Mondial T, plus many of the 308s/328s I looked at buying, every single car could either not start properly, idle properly, or drive properly (or all of the above). This is no excuse for a fuel injected car. A carb car I’ll accept to a degree, because unless everything is fresh, there’ll always be some issue, but not one of these modern cars. It should start and run without being coaxed and nursed. If so, you got a winner on your hands. GLWTS in BaT speak.

I’ll keep an eye on it too - I have an 85 Euro coupe for sale … owner just spent $45k getting it back in shape.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on this. It’s just one model year after mine. I’m not a fan of the knee-pad dashboard and mousetrap seatbelts. Looks to be in great shape although I don’t like how he’s working the throttle so much on cold start-up. Cool that it’s a one-owner car (and also from Michigan where my car was sold new).

There’s mention of the top cover not attaching along the inside edge and I notice this with mine. It will snap into place, but they’re the most difficult to do (and I’ve learnt that if I snap the driver’s side in first, then it will stay).

I’m also looking forward to cLyDe’s comments. I can already hear it now: “...it’s the worst of the worst. A Mondial with a 348 motor in it”. 😉
