After the Nut Tree was gone, the airport was still open. Keegan took some of us down for an adult Make-a-wish with Steve Saghetti (Sp?) Our friend, Don, had brain cancer.

I’m putting it in my office like the Nut Tree had in their famed aircraft bookstore.
Yeah – a waypoint on Interstate 80 from San Fran to Sacramento ORrrrrr simply fly in to their small craft airport for that legendary $100 hamburger.
What a place as great places go and as great place go it went due to family scrabbles. Early 2000’s. Been there since the 20’s.
