I’d have to spend more time looking at all the paperwork, but from the description in 1998 it had 4,375.075 miles on it. Odometer today shows 21,230, which means the true mileage should be 25,605.075.
To know for sure you’d need the import paperwork showing the year the year was imported, the km shown then and if the shop importing it reset the new odometer to the mileage (in km) shown at import or if they put in a new one showing 000.
But legally TMU has to be put on the title. From the writeup: “The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history with owners in Florida and Oklahoma beginning in 1998. The report notes that the vehicle was imported to the United States in July 2001 and a bond was released in September 2002.”
Not sure how there were owners in the US before it was imported. 🤷🏼♂️

Yes I read the description I’m just telling you from experience as a car dealer when you don’t know the exact miles according to state requirements you have to put true mileage unknown and this includes one odometer breaks the person has it replaced and doesn’t set the mileage back to what it was before that’s considered true mileage unknown even though it’s the same owner with the same car and the mileage hasn’t changed the new odometer shows zero when it should’ve been reset to 5000 or 10,000 or 19,000 or whatever the original mileage was it has nothing to do with the owner not knowing what the mileage is it has to do with CarFax and titling. It’s why I pretty much every vehicle that goes through an option in the United States that’s over 10 years old has an exemption on the mileage because the auction does not want to take responsibility for the authenticity of the miles even if there aren’t any questions about the miles. Hey I hear you but it clearly says in the advert that the actual miles are unknown. It’s there right in the description. I’m not making this up.
And I see a discoloured engine block with stains and worn paint on the manifolds and that’s just from a few pictures. Yes it’s low miles but I say again, I have seen much nicer Trs and have the photos to prove it, in the U.K. at FOC events. It’s absolute advertising tosh to say you couldn’t give a nicer one no matter how long you searched. BS. But if dobro e wants it, good luck to them. I’m just saying it ain’t a perfect example and I can see that from the pictures.

It’s not unknown mileage the shop who did the conversion didn’t take the time to reset the odometer to correct mileage and document it. Could easily be fixed with CARFAX if the new owner wanted to take the time. Most 308/328/348/355/TR and older Ferrari have the possibility of not actual miles represented. The odometer cable unscrews at the rear axle.
And did you read the article where a Ferrari dealer in the US was caught resetting digital odometers? And Ferrari knew it was going on …

Let’s see, Unknown mileage, last serviced in 2013, 9 year old tires. What could go wrong on a 25 year old car? I’ll take my 111k mile Tr from Clyde that’s had all the age related stuff done any day of the week. Nice colour combo though…… On 8 Jan 2022, at 00:56, Brian Keegan <bks281 [at] hotmail.com> wrote:
