I know he's officially retired from the project, but did (can't remember his name, brain cramp) ever do Mondial drawings?

Paul?

I was talking with Rick off the ‘List about a bunch of things and I had mentioned a couple of projects with my Mondial that I’ve been keeping myself busy with lately. One project was self-inflicted – I broke the turn signal switch on the steering column! Long story! I’ve got that repaired but considering the weather is still lousy, I’m taking this time to fix a couple of issues.

One of them is the clock. I thought it never worked, but when I was installing a new radio last summer, I had my flashlight in my hand to check things and when I pointed it at the clock, I noticed the colon mark in the middle was blinking and sure enough, the minute mark jumped ahead. Wow, it was actually working! But somehow, the digits weren’t illuminated. Now that I had the battery disconnected to work on the steering column, I pulled the clock out of the panel (what a pain!) and took it apart.

Good ol’ ‘80s tech, I thought it was LED, but it’s actually an LCD screen that is backlit by a small incandescent bulb! A green filter behind the screen gives it that characteristic glow.

Question; before I put it back in the dash, does anyone have the diagram/pinout of the connector? I want to make sure it will power up and count properly. I also found out it is the same clock as used in the contemporary Fiat Uno (surprise, surprise).
