Picture this - 1960 - L.A. Coliseum - and the Los Angeles Dodgers are playing there against San Fran? Pirates? Braves? Yep - And I am a new vendor, junior in high school, selling canned cokes. The senior union guys got popcorn . . . lighter load and sold for more. Golly that was a sticky mess - just like NASCAR at the Coliseum. I'm surprised the track held up. They are now racing at the L.A. Coliseum, INSIDE the Coliseum. They made a 1/4 mile track on the football field. So stupid! Nothing has changed, it’s caution after caution and the commentators naturally act as if this was super exciting. NEW LOW.
