Charles won by default because Max had several technical difficulties late in the race. If that wasn’t the case, Max would’ve finished either in 1st, or elsewhere on the podium. Not to say Charles wouldn’t be far behind, but....

Yes, it’s the first race. 22 more to go.

Why do you say “won by default “?  Max wasn’t going to catch Charles so that didn’t affect the winner. Second place courtesy of the RB mechanical but that is luck of the race.

Ferrari looks good but a single race does not make a championship and development is continual throughout the season.

Didn’t see that the rule changes improved the amount of passing or competitiveness. Most of the race was fairly processional.

Their engine is clearly the best right now but Mercedes stayed close so they are clearly ahead on aero and suspension.  Mercedes will improve their engine so Ferrari better work on their aero and suspension or this will be short lived.  The good news is that it is easier to copy aero and suspension.

And now Haas has a decent engine to work with and no bad drivers!  Good start to the season.

Do we know yet what caught fire on the alphatauri?  Batteries?

Yaaaay! Even though it was a win-by-default, a win is a win.

Great to see they qualified in the top positions and finished nearly as such.

Now, if they can keep this up for the next 22 races...
