The 288 GTO is not doubt the best of the 3 series but they made so few and the prices of the ones you can find are astronomical 

This person who just paid $320k will never recoup that much

I bet this deal falls through one reality sets in

Some say that the 328 is the best _expression_ of the 3X8 Ferrari road cars.

I’ve always thought that the 288 GTO was the  best _expression_ of  the 3X8 Ferrari road cars.

But then again, opinions are like rectums…..everybody has one.
